Terms of Service

1. The service

ScarletHosts designs, builds, hosts and maintains websites for content creators, made from the blocks you choose. We may improve or change features over time; we won’t remove a paid feature you rely on without notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use ScarletHosts. You’re responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything done under your account.

3. Nothing illegal, ever

You may only use ScarletHosts for lawful purposes. Illegal content and activity are not permitted on any site we host. This includes, without limitation:

• Any content involving minors in a sexual context, or any content that sexualises minors. We report it to the authorities.
• Content shared without the consent of everyone shown in it, including intimate images and deepfakes.
• Content you don’t have the rights to, or that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or privacy.
• Selling or promoting illegal goods or services.
• Harassment, threats, hate speech or incitement to violence.
• Fraud, scams, phishing, malware, spam or attacks on other systems.

You’re responsible for following the laws that apply to you and your content, including age-verification and record-keeping rules where they apply, and for confirming that everyone featured on your site is an adult who has consented. We may remove content, suspend or close accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement when we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

4. Fair use of included resources

Every plan includes hosting, bandwidth, storage and traffic at no extra charge, so a busy month or a post going viral won’t bring a surprise bill. To keep this possible for everyone, included resources are subject to fair use:

• They’re meant for running your creator site as normally used by you and your fans.
• They aren’t for use as a general file-hosting, backup or bulk download service, for serving files to other websites or apps, or for automated or artificially generated traffic.
• If your usage is far above what’s typical for your plan, or affects the service for others, we’ll contact you first to talk through options, such as optimising your site, adding a block or moving to a custom plan.
• We may limit or suspend resources without notice only when needed to protect the service, for example during an attack or abuse.

5. Orders, billing and cancellation

Plans are billed monthly in advance at the price shown when you order. You can add or remove blocks or cancel at any time; changes take effect from your next billing period. Fees already paid aren’t refundable for partial months unless the law requires otherwise. If a payment fails we’ll let you know, and may pause your site if it isn’t resolved.

6. Your content

You keep full ownership of your content. You give us permission to store, copy and display it only as needed to build, run and support your site. You confirm you have all the rights needed to publish it.

7. Our work

The ScarletHosts platform, tools and templates remain ours. While your plan is active, you may use the site we build for you. Your domain name stays yours if you leave, and we’ll help you export your content.

8. Ending the service

You can cancel at any time. We may suspend or end your service if you break these terms, don’t pay, or put the service or others at risk. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll give notice first and a chance to fix the problem.

9. Disclaimers and liability

We work hard to keep your site fast and online, but the service is provided “as is” and we can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, ScarletHosts isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here and give customers at least 14 days’ notice by email of significant changes. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
